Hi all,

Long back story involving PCOS and breast cancer treatment, but we are at a point where I have been given nothisterone to kickstart my cycle after tamoxifen is finished to check my fertility levels.

Only, she didn't tell me what day of my cycle to do it - just once I have af? I understand I take 6 days of the nothisterone and then I should have af and then do I go for bloods on the 3rd day or something?!?

Depends which hormones they're looking at I think. But yes, likely to be day 1, 2 or 3 if it's LH / FSH / oestradiol (oestrogen) or prolactin. AFAIK only one they would look at later in a cycle would be progesterone around day 21.

I'm guessing its FSH / prolactin then - day 1 / 2 / 3 I should go.
