IVF - need to tell someone!

We had our first round of IVF in 2013 and got 11 eggs which resulted in 7 embryos. It was successful and we ended up with our beautiful son. We froze 3 and last year had 2 horrible failed frozen cycles :(

We are currently going through another frsh IVF cycle and we got 11 eggs yesterday. We just got the call to say an amazing 10 of them fertilized!!! I am so excited but we haven't told our family this time so I needed to tell someone!

Fantastic news! Hopefully they'll be able to get you to blastocyst which will improve your odds no end (my Ds1 was a blasto baby). I have everything crossed for you Fish.

Congratulations, amazing news!! I hope it all goes well and you get your bfp 😀

Hurray! So pleased for you - hope cycle continues to go well. My OTD is tomorrow and it feels weird not to be sharing the results with all our family like last time. We've only told DSIL and my DP and that was because we needed childcare help for scans and EC. If it's a positive result tomorrow, a little bit of me wants to keep it to ourselves (except for putting DSIL & DP out of their misery) like people with "normal" pregnancies get to do.

We had a phone call on day 3 (yesterday) to say that only 2 were doing what they should so we went in for a 3 day transfer and had one 7 cell put back. They said it was splitting perfectly and evenly so fingers crossed it continues and is successful.

I hope your test was good westergille, I know what you mean about wanting part of it to be normal and like everyone else gets to do.

Well we tested today, a week early, and got a faint positive!

That's brilliant! Hope the line gets stronger and stronger
I got a BFP. Did a test after hearing from the clinic and loved seeing that line appear!
