Am I having a miscarriage?

Long story short I got my first BPF on fri after 5 years ttc. Few failed iuis and icsi cycles. I should be about 5/6 weeks and I bled for an hourish last night. Only when I wiped but still noticeable. More orange/pinkish than red. I managed to get blood taken at my clinic this afternoon. Prob won't hear from then tomorrow and I don't know how much they can tell from one test without having to repeat it. I've also had period cramps throughout my 2ww to present.

I'm sorry, it's always so worrying. Ive had a miscarriage that started just like this, but I've also had two successful pregnancies that started like this. It's awful but only time will tell I'm afraid.

Thanks for reply I know that deep down, I just need to wait. Im completely over waiting about for good or bad news, my happiness lasted 4 days before this happened. Don't know how I'll bounce back from this if I miscarry.

Thanks, had another few bleeds since. Had mega high hcg bloods so got s scan checking for multiples. Have 2 sacs one bigger than the other but no heart beats, I know it's to early to see that anyway. Consultant said hold tight for a few weeks till we re scan!!!

If it's any help I'm on pregnancy 3 and had period type cramps with all of them until around 10 weeks. It's normal I'm told.

just wanted to send you hugs. our current pregnancy is ivf, at 5-6 weeks we had a MASSIVE BLEED. Bright red, clots, heavy, lasted couple of days, doesnt always mean the worst. x

Thanks all. Hi bessie how far along are you know? I'm not entirely sure how dating works with a frozen cycle which is what we had. I'm roughly about 5 weeks. Did you get a scan when you bled? I had pink spitting to start with. Then heavy bright red bleeding, too with clots!! Really thought that was the end of it. But I need to wait 3 weeks for another scan to see if 2 sacs are viable!

we are 23 weeks now. we werent allowed a scan til 6w3days as thats when they can first see something, whens your scan? we had a bruise on the wall, werent allowed sex ect til after 12 week scan. x

I am currently sat at home with mild bleeding.

I also got my BFP on Friday after around 5 years of trying. We had our appointment booked with the ACU tomorrow to meet nurses and get the prescription to start IVF when I caught naturally.

This morning I went around 5am I peed and when I wiped there was pinky blood with a clear discharge. I am not bleeding as in a full flow and it's not leaving marks on my pad but when I wipe it's there.

I am around 5 weeks and hoping it's nothing sinister. But how do you get it out your head! There is not much that can be done so I think it's just a waiting game.

When I had my miscarriage last year (at 5 weeks) I called the miscarriage helpline and they told me I should take another pregnancy test as this would be a good indication of what was happening. I retested and it showed up a very faint positive, fading more and more each time I tested over the following two days. I just thought this intimation might be of use but Sending hope and best wishes your way

Hope you are ok and all is well. I bled around 4/5 weeks and then again at 8 and 12 weeks. Everything turned out OK and bleeding doesn't always mean the end of the pregnancy. So terrifying seeing any blood during pregnancy

So I am still spotting it's been around a week. I took a couple more tests all positive.

I went to see my private consultant who gave me cyclogest. Told me it's fairly normal.

I went to doctors this morning and they are referring me to EPU I am waiting for a call and hopefully they will see me today.

I am so scared but putting on a brave face.
