Where is my fucking period?!?

Day 40 after starting down regging on Buserelin for a FET at day 21. No fucking period, I am not pregnant and I need to start the next fucking stage otherwise we are going to have to cancel this cycle as have a holiday booked at end of March. And I feel like shit, look like shit, best friend is pregnant, am being made redundant, boilers broken and house hugest drove off with my keys this weekend. Just totally fucking fucked off. Anyone else?

I never got a period whilst down regging. I did however ovulate whilst injecting buserelin so at my down reg scan the cycle got cancelled as I wasn't down regulated and we couldn't keep on down regging me as we were hitting Xmas closures for EC week. Also my Dr was worried about over suppressing me because of my low AMH

I was told I might not get a period and as long as the lining was suitably thin and the ovaries were quiet we could start stims. Unfortunately my lining was thin but the ovaries weren't quiet!!

I tried to invoke sod's law by wearing white knickers and no pantliner. Failed miserably, but hoping you have more success!!

And massive massive hugs. I was a mess while down regging. I believe emotionally volatile would be putting it mildly.

I even got a bollocking at work for my lack of diplomacy filter

I've an appointment tomorrow to see what's going on. I have been spotting for four days but don't see how my lining could be thin enough as have had no Af. No problems with me and my periods are usually pretty regular so God knows what is going on.

Thanks Mrs! Yes. We abandoned the attempt at long protocol, I went on the pill for a month (so that plus the buserelin was 7.5 weeks!) and then reverted to a short protocol like my first cycle. Although it didn't feel very short!!!

I have desperately crap lining so I am not the best example but I think it is possible for lining to get reabsorbed. So even if you haven't had a bleed, if the scan shows your lining is suitably thin, you should be good to go

Silly question, but any chance you could be pregnant?!! Sorry for stating the bloody obvious but no period can be a good thing.....!!

Hi Mrs Chris, I can relate to your feeling totally fucked off - my pregnancy test was negative, which was devastating... at the same time a really exciting project I've been working on for over a year now looks like it might fall through, meanwhile another project has already fallen through, my partner's business deal has fallen through... we're being threatened with eviction from our flat, but we can't afford to move, so we feel completely trapped by our financial circumstances... and we've fallen out with our neighbours who keep us awake playing loud music because they seem to think they're still living in halls. We desperately want a garden and a dog to distract us from the infertility shit but we can't achieve either of these things because of our current financial situation.

A month ago everything felt like it was going really well - we had high hopes of a pregnancy, we had these money-making projects on the go which all seemed to be going really well, we were so excited and felt like maybe this might be the year we move forward with our lives, get our businesses up and running properly, buy a house, start a family etc. Then everything went wrong all at once. I'm now worrying we will have to move to a council flat, or back in the with the parents. We're 36! And we've got nowhere in life. Nowhere. It sucks.

Mrs I'm also a dick who should have read your post properly when you've said you def couldn't be pregnant. That was desperately unhelpful of me!

I was crapping it about not having had a period and contacted the clinic. They got me to come in for a scan and we discovered then that it wasn't the lining that was the issue, it was having ovulated (I didn't have a period after my prev month's ovulation and then managed to ovulated again with no period in between!!!!). What do your clinic say? Surely after 40 days of down reg they must be able to have a look and see what's what? Big hugs xxx

I'm going in at 12 today to do a pregnancy test and get scanned. I did have 4 days worth of spotting last week/over the weekend...not really a period but I did also have a scratch and bled a bit after that, so wonder if there just isn't much lining left to lose? Options at this stage are I'm pregnant (unlikely given 2 negative tests and very low, very poor quality sperm), I've down regged without a full period and can progress, or I haven't down regged and either need to wait, cancel or take something to start a bleed....who knows at this point!!
