5 Day Blast FET

I had 2 fet (5 day blasts) transferred last Wednesday and am driving myself bonkers in the wait. When is the earliest anyone tested and got a BFP? I am trying to be patient but there is no way I am going to last another 9 days before OTD.

How long do they take to implant - are FET's the same as fresh blasts or domtheybtake longer to gear up?

I've just started my two week wait today from a frozen blast.

This will be my third round of IVF. On both previous pregnancies I tested one week in and got a very faint positive.

BUT I wouldn't do this again with this one. I started bleeding with the second one on my period date.

I'm just going to stick it out this time

Also can I ask why you had two blasts put in?

im assuming green is late 30's/early 40's - they often put 2 back in if patient wants this

i had 3 fresh put in at 40 -all failed

one fresh put in 42 failed

and 5 frozen and they said would put in 2, but ive said no as now older dont want risk of twins so will do 1 fet

I had two fresh blasts out in 2013 and conceived twins. We lost one at 9 weeks and my son was born last year. We had two blasts in the freezer and decided that as both myself and DH are now 46 this had to be the final roll of the dice.

So we had two put back to increase the chance of a successful pregnancy even though we run the risk of a twin pregnancy. If this cycle is unsuccessful we are going to call it a day which is why I think I am feeling a bit desperate!!

I was told 12 days after 5 day embryo and 14 after 3 day. No point doing earlier as may be false

So long as you are using a frer you should get an accurate response from 7 or 8dp5dt. A lot of women get their bfps even earlier at 5dpt but I would recommend waiting that extra few days just to be sure. The dates the clinics give are ridiculously late but it's just to make sure they catch absolutely everyone before stopping the progesterone if bfn.

I had my 5 day FET on the Wed and tested positive on the Monday. OTD wasn't for another week I think. Good luck.

Hi, I had FET 2 x 5 day blasts put in 4 days ago. Am already totally impatient to test but I'm not going to!
Last year I had 1 fresh ET with a BFP, became obsessed with doing tests (seriously I spent a fortune doing about 3 digital tests a day due to previous MC!) and an hour before my scan was still showing very positive but it died. So have learnt my leason on obssessive testing!

Fingers crossed for this time but am not hopeful as one was grade B/C and one was grade C.

Today is 9 days past a 5 day transfer. First round of ICSI/IVF. I have been testing negatively since 7 days past. I couldn't resist. Bored. Official test date is not for another 2 days. I’m trying to stay positive but if it doesn’t happen this time, we will just keep trying. My mother had 2 miscarriages before me and another 2 before my younger brother.

Today was official test day and I got a negative result. First round of IVF, I was upset for a whole day but now I am feeling normal again. We just have to keep going. It's a process. Good luck everyone!

On 5dpt now from grade 5bb blastosyct transfer going mad the not knowing now, didn't think it would be so difficult I have had pains in side and in groin but not sure if it's because the pessaries and evorel patches I'm on

I tested after having 1 blasto put back on 6dp5dt with PM pee, & got a squinter. Think it was a clearblue that I had left over from doing that fucking pointless as I'm PCOS ovulation test study thing.

So did yours stay positive x

I have had positive test day 5 and 6 worried it's wrong tho as it's early ain't it
