2 week wait after ivf

Argggggh had the embryo transfer this morning and now we must have the long and painful two week wait. Know it is going to be an extremely frustrating time where time moves SO slowly! Plus I am full of hormones and look so bloated. Anyone else in the same boat? Good luck all! X

Good luck, this was me 15th December 2010. It sucked, I was off work and my dh bless him wanted to do everything for me so a bit boring and it felt more like a month. Fingers crossed you get the positive result we did FlowersChocolate

Hello Smile I'm also in the TWW but following ovulation induction, not IVF. I'm so busy at work that time is flying by, so test day will be round before I know it. I took the HCG trigger shot on Wednesday and told to test 16 days later, which I guess is Friday 18th December. So like you, I'll either have fantastic news just before Christmas or crap news that will put a real downer on things (not that I feel in the mood for the festive season following two bereavements Sad).

It's out of our hands now and it's a relief not to do the daily injections and have a scan/blood test every three days. Well done for getting this far - you have my upmost respect as IVF looks really tough. Can I ask about your background? Do you have a diagnosis? Is this your first round etc.?

Everything is on my... unfortunately I can't take it easy as I have an 8 month old to look after. It's a good distraction though.

Moomin, really hope you get a positive outcome too. I test on Thurs. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Going mental as am feeling no symptoms so have persuaded myself that it's a bfn.
We had ivf for male factor infertility. This is my second cycle. The first cycle produced 3 embryos. I got pregnant the first time but then devastatingly had a termination at 21 weeks as the baby had severe abnormalities. Did a frozen embryo transfer next and had a little boy. Now I have one frozen embryo stored but had a fresh embryo transfered 8 days ago. You can read more on my blog actually Www.wakeupsurvivesleep.com xxx

I am currently cuddling my 9 week old little girl who took much heart break and attempts. Don't give up.
