confused about sperm count results

Could someone please help me cause I'm really confused and getting more and more stressed.
I'm not ovulating so we have an appointment to look at going in clomid.
In the meantime my partner had to have his sperm analysis done.
He's just rang me with his results apparently he has 71.4million sperm density of 19million count but his density of morphological normal and motile sperm is only 3,550,000 is this bad?

I'm so worried that this is now another spanner thrown in that were gonna have to sort before I can receive clomid to get me ovulating again.

I wouldn't worry - those results sound pretty ok to me! My husband is much lower (overall count 3 million, morphology 4%, motility ok at 50%) and they don't seem very interested in doing anything about it. He could try taking vitamins to increase the motility tho, cut down on drinking, don't smoke, eat healthily and exercise regularly, all those things should help but I very much doubt it will affect whether you are prescribed cloned or not.

My partners density of morphological normal and motile sperm is 5% which equates to 3.5 million
Is what that that I was so worried about cause 5% really doesn't sound much.
We've been focusing on getting the clomid so much we didn't even consider if there would be an issue with my partner and at 5% I thought that would be cause for concern.

Nope, 5% is a normal result for morphology. We only worry when it is less than 4%

Thanks for the replies. Fractious that has made me feel a bit better it panicked me more as my partners doctor was talking to him about doing insemination and stuff if needs be in the future.

I have a decision to make now I've been emailing a specialist I can either wait for my nhs appointment on the 30th with him or see him this week privately. The consultation will apparently be around £100. I told him were worried of the costs as we don't really have much money but can use some of the wedding savings and he said if I went private he'd send me to the doctors for some of the tests to save us money.
Part of me days wait for the nhs appointment it's only 3 weeks but the other half of me is going mad and I'm not sleeping or anything. I just hope he will actually prescribe me clomid. My other worry with the nhs appointment is my partner is actually overweight if he realises this at the nhs appointment he will decline us and if he realises we haven't been trying the full time needed he will decline us. My partner is overweight although you wouldn't be able to tell looking at him and my doctor refered Mr early as I haven't had a period in 8 months
