hi just looking for some advice i have an appointment at a recurrent miscarriage clinic next week after suffering 2 miscarriages this year, just wondering has anyone been to this kind of clinic before and what can i expect

I have. I saw Raj Rai at Marys earlier this year.

The appointment consisted of a chat about my history and possible causes of miscarriage. I knew (having had previous tests etc) that my uterus was normal, so I didn't need scans or anything but I think they do them in some cases. And I had a load of blood tests - 8 tubes or so!

A couple of weeks later I went back for my results. Turns out I have a little clotting issue which didn't cause my last MC (the embryo was abnormal) but if I do get pregnant again with a normal one taking some aspirin will protect against issues.

And that's it. Mr Rai was lovely, funny and very clear.

I'm sorry about your MCs. I hope you get your baby soon.
