Any temping experts fancy looking at my chart?

Hi

Thanks for taking the time to look. Would this suggest I ovulated? My opks say no as they only went about a third as dark as the control line. I definitely didn't miss it with the opks as I checked each time I went for a wee on the important dates. This is my 1st month charting and am struggling a little.

I wouldn't say I was an expert, but you maybe have ovd cd13 just before that rise in temperature (which I assume was this morning?). See what the next couple of temps do, if they stay as high as today's then id say you have ovd - what did this afternoons opk look like? The apps usually need three high temps before they will pinpoint ovulation.

Hope this helped and good luck! Xx

Hi Sammy

Thanks for your reply. I have attached today's chart and the temp has dipped a little. I read somewhere the temp needs to shift by a minimum of .4 degrees to confirm ovulation from the highest of the 1st phase, my shift was only 0.3 and back down to 0.15. Opks have been very very pale. Sat and Sunday cd13&14 I had lines about a third as dark as the control line but apart from that there has been no line whatsoever all month. Would you say with my temp dipping again today mean ov didn't occur?

I'm not very familiar with Fahrenheit so not sure how it relates to Celsius, but in Celsius the temp needs to rise by at least 0.3.
Your temp is still generally higher than your average so I wouldn't rule it out just yet.
I have attached an example of my chart showing ov for you to compare. Xx

Hi, thanks for your charts.

I've changed the units to Celsius. My thermometer is in farenheit. I don't know much about either.
36.61 was the height in the 1st half of cycle and yesterday 36.78 and today 36.69. So it hasn't gone up by the .3 it needed to to ovulate. Sad
I'm so bloody sick of this!

Most apps use the 3 over 6 rule to confirm ov. That is 3 temps need to be higher than at least 6 to confirm ovulation. This rise should be 0.3 degrees or more.
You have 9 temps under the 36.5 line and only 4 above it prior to cd16, cd16,17 and 18 are higher. Cd7,8&9 could have been up slightly due to waking later/hotter room/illness, a few random temps is normal.

If your temp stays above the 36.5 line now when temping at the same time every day then I would be almost certain you ovd on cd15.

Don't lose hope, it takes a while to get the hang of charting! Xx
