Any PCOS/hormone experts around?

I have just completed my last cycle of clomid, well on cd27. I have just had my progestrone results and it was 106 this month.
Usually it's around 40/50 so 106 seems really high.
Should I be worried? Any experiences?

minimalistaspirati0ns · 13/10/2015 20:41

I know your on day 27 but what day did they test?

mistletoeprickles · 13/10/2015 21:43

Progestrone to confirm ovulation

Which day did they test progesterone? Usually it's day 21

mistletoeprickles · 14/10/2015 06:53

It's only day 21 if you have a regular 28 day cycle, which I don't so it was done on day 24. This has been the same for the last 6 months but yet this month's progestrone result is almost double what it usually is

Have you done a pregnancy test yet?

mistletoeprickles · 14/10/2015 07:13

ah okay the waiting is horrible isn't it I thought I'd caught on this time but nope I'm 4 days late and bfn still pretty sure af 8 going to show up tomorrow hoping for better luck next month. good luck hope its a bfp for you.

mistletoeprickles · 14/10/2015 08:33

Yep it's a bugger. Although I have now learnt that AF appears between cd30 and cd35 so I try not to get my hopes up until then.
This month I'm really symptom spotting though and I'm pretty sure I had implanation pain yesterday (I had it with my first and the pain was very similar although not as strong). I'm ignoring my boobs completely because I tend to get sore boobs just before AF (currently there fine). Also I'm waking in the night to pee and that's a first for me.
So frustrating. Over a year of trying and 6 cycles of clomid!

gosh I can imagine you must be very frustrated I'm trying for my second I have pcos but it's never really affected me getting pregnant I just can't seem to keep hold of them I had 8 miscarriages befor I had my son then progesterone pessaries twice a day when I was pregnant with my son but I can't even seem to get pregnant this time around and I'm doing everything right my doctor is going to book me in for another scan to see if the pcos has gotten any worse.

mistletoeprickles · 14/10/2015 11:00

Are you ovulating? I don't ovulate naturally just have successfully on clomid .

I had a chemical pregnacy in May and although it's not a nice thing to happen it also showed that I can get pregnant again.

Are you on clomid?

This is my last cycle and I don't know what the next plan is really. As I already have DD I'm going to be restricted on what the NHS will allow although I have started squirrel in money away in case we have to go private.
Making babies should be simple!

Hey sorry I've not been around no I'm not on clomid I'm not sure if I'm ovulating I used clear blue ovulation kit last month and just got flashy face instead of a solid face I've ordered some Internet cheapies because there better so going to track it properly this month hopefully I will get the scan on my ovaries soon if it's gotten worse they might offer a solution I had a cyst removed from my ovary about a year ago.

mistletoeprickles · 16/10/2015 11:47
