When to test?

I'm day 13 since ivf egg collection and the wait is driving me to distraction. Our clinic told me to test on day 16.

During our first round (failed)I had started spotting by now, so I stupidly can't help getting my hopes up this time. I'm struggling to concentrate at work and generally appearing a bit vacant and unenguaged with everything!

So, advice Ladies. I'm thinking of cracking and testing early. Is day 14 too early to get any sort of meaningful result?

going crazy I have no idea when you can test after IVF but just wanted to wish you all the luck with this cycle! I think it sounds like a very good sign about the not spotting. I had the same when I found out I was pregnant(didn't end well unfortunately), no spotting when I normally would. If you get a frer they are super sensitive and better than ic's. I'm a total addict so know quite a lot about these tests. I'd be testing tomorrow if I were you! Best of luck

I tested at 5dp5dt . I couldn't have held out any longer than that. I don't recommend it though as I wasn't 100% sure the resulting positive test wasn't residual trigger.

I tested 13dp3dt after this is what clinic advise. I wanted to do everything by the book and felt like I would affect the results if we tested early! We got a BFP so maybe there's something in it!

Testing too early and you'll pick up the hcg from the trigger shot.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I spoke too soon. Started spotting yesterday, so that all far too familiar cycle starts again :'(
