Hello.. has anyone here been to Ivf-spain in Alicante? We have been trying for 5 years and have had 4 unsuccessful attempts. We have now had a consultation at Ivf-spain and they seem amazing, and to top it all off I will have my treatment in Spain before my follow up from my last private IVF and this was after we told the clinic we would like to go straight ahead and try again for them to book our consultation 3 months later.. with a closure the month after meaning we would not even be able to start until into the new year. would love to hear some experience from other people if they have been here?

me not, my friends went to Poland, but I stumbled upon this webpage (www.eggdonationfriends.com/country/spain/) where Spanish clinics are reviewed on success rate, prices, qualifications etc. If you have any doubts, a webpage declares free consulting

Hi
We went to Quiron Barcelona, were recommended by the IVF clinic here in London.
We were prepared to give it at least 3or 4 try's but amazingly it worked first time. We have one more grade A embryo in the bank which we plan to go back for in a year or so.
Good luck!

Hi Calcium.
We went to '92 Harley Street ' in London, we were recommended.
They Are linked with Quiron Barcelona. So Harley street gave us the contact details. I decided to phone them, both the consultant and his helper/ receptionist speak fluent English and are so nice and prepared to tell you everything you need to know. Most contact was done over the internet.
I was amazed at how quickly everything went, I thought it would be a long running proceedure but from the time I'd filled in the forms till when they'd found our donor was only 4 or 5 weeks?!
There are loads of places to stay but just for a night or 2, I would Recommend 'Catalonia Park Guell, Barcelona,' it's cheep and cheerful, serve food all day, 5-10 mins in a taxi to hospital.
The email address is
[email protected]
To. Dr Aurell and Anabel.
They usually get back within a day or 2.
I hope that's been of some help?.
Let me know if you have any more questions. Good luck!

Thanks so much for your reply! That sounds amazing that a London clinic is linked with the one in barca! How was it there and we're the prices alot cheaper? I have come across this clinic online and gas good reviews but knowing it's linked and a personal reply of someone that has experienced it is great. X

I think the best thing to do is email them your story. Which is what I did. They emailed me all the info I needed to know, proceedures, costs etc. I printed them all out and we sat down and took our time reading them. Also ask them to email the direct line to the reproduction clinic as trying to go through the hospital reception is tricky as not everyone on the desk speaks very good English. X
