Options after Clomid

I'm 38 and my husband and I are ttc baby number 2. I've been on Clomid for 3 months and my blood tests suggested ovulation had occurred after the first month... but am still not pregnant. I have a fertility appointment in a few weeks. I wondered what other people's experiences were after taking Clomid? More Clomid? Or more tests? Or then onto IVF? We've been referred through the NHS so far....

Hello SmileI don't ovulate on my own so tried Clomid and now about to start injectable gonadotropins (Menopur) and if six rounds of that doesn't work it's then onto IVF. I am 36 and TTC #1. Do you have a diagnosis?

Hi there Not as such - was unexplained infertility originally, then the additional blood tests showed I wasn't ovulating. I got pregnant the first time around on the 3rd round of Clomid, aged 36. Are you doing the gonadotropins through the NHS? I've gone through the NHS so far and know we may need to go private later on as we already have a son.

Yes I'm on the NHS and the injectables count as one of my three rounds of IVF.
