Downton Abbey - curing women's fertility issues in 30 seconds flat!

Ok I KNOW it's just a TV programme... but was anyone else slightly irked out how easily Anna's fertility issues were cured?! One appointment (within a couple of days of telling lady Mary her troubles) and she was given a diagnosis and a cure. None of this 'unexplained' nonsense.

Anyway... Back to the real world!

I'm still wondering what Lady Mary's "little operation" was that sorted her out too!
(Possibly surgical resection of her stiff upper lip)

Urgh really? I've got it recorded. Quite enjoyed seeing someone struggling with shitty infertility on telly! Take me back to the 1920s & their magical cures!

Fucking downtown.

I noticed they did a rather a snappy 'Now he's paralysed - and now he isn't!' somewhere back near the start. Instant loss of cred...

Oh how annoying. I havent watched that episode yet and was hoping they would at least do justice to the storyline. Apparently not! If only life was like downton!
