Natural frozen blast transfer

Hi ladies, I've just had a failed fresh icsi cycle in which I was lucky enough to get 5 x aa 5 day blastocysts frozen. I'm having the first one put back in a natural cycle this month. I'm a bit confused and opk and scared I'm going to miss the moment! Has anyone got any advice, and has anyone got a success story to tell me using natural fet? Thanks xx

Sorry, I don't have a success story but I did a natural frozen cycle.
I had done loads of opk's previously so I wasn't too worried. I just wanted the ovulate at the right time so that my lining didn't get too thick or then something weird happened to my luteal phase.
Just have confidence in your body and good luck. Definitely use a good brand and not internet cheapie. I think i used Clear blue smiley face.

Yes! She's 9 months old now, so its a good 18 months since I did opk. I'm trying to remember, I went to the clinic quite regularly for scans and then I think they told me to do the opk on certain days. Good luck!

I only went for one scan myself, then I did opk daily from about day 10.

My first, natural FET is now 15 months and tucked in bed, I am also nearly 7 weeks with a second natural FET. I was monitored by scan (I think three times for my boy, and only twice recently), I did trigger and had early blasts transferred on day 4 (they were frozen on day 4 as good morulas sometime in 2013). I wouldn't like to do it with just OPKs, I think they're too fiddly for my liking and after taking 3,5 years to conceive our DS I am a confirmed hater of POAS. I didn't with either my FETs, just rocked up at the blood test at 16dpo.

I'm currently doing a natural fet but very anxious as have pcos and not sure opk will be accurate. Clinic mentioned trigger but at what size does the follicle need to be for a trigger jab?

I wouldn't have thought a clinic would advise a natural fet unless you have a fairly regular cycle without complications like pcos. But they must know about that. Maybe they rely on scans to monitor when you ovulate rather than opk?

Is anyone still around on here?
We're looking at a natural FET as soon as af rocks up following a second abandoned cycle. It seems I can't cope with the estrogen pills (great sign if what pregnancy will be like if it ever happens!).
I just wanted to know how it works? At what point do you go in? What is the trigger shot for? What happens if your positive opk falls on a Sunday and the clinic is shut? Xx

I had a scan on day 8,11 and 18

On day 18 they saw a huge follicle 'about to pop' but opk was still negative so I had an ovitrelle trigger that evening on the Monday
I then started my medications on wed(progesterone and aspirin) and had my ET yesterday (day 3 embryo)

OTD is 21st October

Also a lot of clinics are open at weekends for EC and ET procedures so don't worry we made sure when looking at clinics that we picked one who would fit in with us rather than us having to fit in with their schedule

I went for scans at the weekend and our FET was on a Saturday.
