Hi we have recently been told my husband had no sperm in his sample. We have been to for two years now. We have had two appointments with the fertitly specialist but I feel like we are always waiting we go back in November when we have another sample the results of the chromosome and blood test as well as the scan results. All I want really is someone to talk too and any advice of people going through what we are

Hi Snowqueen, my husband has low motility and sperm count, we too are having to wait till november when we go back to our second appointment , my dh has to re do another sample, and i am having to have my progesterone tested, I can't give you any advice but i probably know how you must be feeling, wait ages for the first appointment , hoping to be given some magic potion and almost felt let down coming away with nothing but to go back in three months time, i am grateful that we have appointment , just did not realise that this road will be a long drawn out journey, x

I know you feel like your life is passing you by and you are stuck in a bubble. It's hard as he has had his scan now so if there is a blockage someone knows but we have to wait until November and then no doubt what for an appointment for him to have his op just wish I had a magic wand x

My husband and I are in the same position. We found out in July that he didn't have any sperm in his sample, after TTC for just under one year. He's since done another sample, which was the same. He's also had a blood test showing that his hormone levels are normal, which was slightly reassuring to us. Like you, though, we're getting frustrated with all the waiting- it's a total nightmare!! Could you perhaps ring the clinic and ask someone to call you back with the results, rather than having to wait until November? Maybe not, but worth a try. We're just waiting for an appointment with a fertility specialist and haven't even got a date yet. It's early days, I know, but I feel like I'm going out of my mind!

Yeah I did phone and they said they wanted to wait so they could deliver all results together and it would be great if I could pm you as sometimes it's just nice to no someone feels like you.
Has your husband had the chromosome test as apparently if they carry th cf gene it may mean they have no tubes and has he had a ultrasound ? It is the waiting that is so frustrating xx
