Hello sparechange,
I am feeling really disheartened on Sunday I had light brown discharge and after reading a few comments thought it would be implantation, but yesterday cramps and darker brown followed and it is still going on today. I'm so confused and cannot stop crying.
This is it for us as my body can't handle anymore treatment. :'(

Are you on progesterone?
I wouldn't read too much into the early spotting. I had some a day after transfer, which is just from where the catheter has scraped a bit, and then more a few days later along with 'zappy' cramps which was probably implantation.
When is your official testing date?

I haven't used them, but some of the posters on the IVF support threads use the ivf meditation and relaxation tracks which you can find online. Would something like that help you? Or going for a nice walk?

Hey Kerrie, good luck. It's great that you had one implant before, so sorry that didn't work out, but it nearly made it. Would this be your first child or do you have a child already? Fingers crossed for you x

Hello-
Yes sparechange I am on progesterone, I have tried relaxing and going for a walk. I am off work at the moment due to working in an usage environment but the boss is transferring me to an office. I am scared of going back before the test on the 9/9/15. X

Hi Kerrie
How are you doing today? Did the walk help?

Working might help to take your mind off things? and if it's light office work it shouldn't be a big risk to any possible pregnancy (in my opinion, I'm not a Dr, usual disclaimers...) Hope you are OK, this can be so tough but you can get through it. How's your partner? Is he supportive?

Hello.
The walk didn't help. I have had all week off work the pains have been like A period for me and they are not good. :( I am going back to work on Monday. I have been a bit better mentally, I have not cried in a day. I have just decided if it's meant to be it will be. My husband is very supportive I couldn't ask for a better one. That's why we will get through this together. X

So sorry it wasn't the result you were hoping for. It's so tough isn't it, we all understand.

Are you just 28 (guessing from your username)? If so then perhaps a year or two 'off' wouldn't be so awful, you could build up strength and savings for another try in the future perhaps?

thankyou catnip, yes I am just 28 but I am unable to go through it all again as I had severe hyperstimulation, blood poisoning and nearly died and because of that I made a promise to my husband I would not put us throught it again. It's just not meant to be. X

OK you're young, there is time to look at other options. Maybe mild IVF to try to avoid overstimulation. Or artificial insemination with donor sperm, but of course this is not for everyone. Sounds like a chat with a Dr about other options may be a good plan before you decide for sure that this is the end of the road for you? Hugs x

You're not out yet, lovely! Early pregnancy pains feel just like period pains, so discount that one.
Keep testing...

Where in the country are you based? Would you think about Natural cycle IVF, where they don't give you drugs (or give you a super low dose) and aim to collect a couple of eggs at a time?
Google Create Fertility - they explain it on their website.
Still here to hold your hand until Wednesday Flowers

Kerrie, there is a long running thread of 30-something's who have been trying for a while. Lots of IVFers, Clomid girls and a total mine of info on supplements, diet changes, and hand holding.
We say on the thread it is for 30 something's but I think we can make an exception for you, given what you've been through.
Come on over and say hi, and tell them Spare sent you for some support...

We have someone else from South Wales in the thread as well...

Thank you spare. I will definitely go and have a look. It has been a bit of a relief taking to you another woman's point of view going through it. Let's hope my little embies stuck and are growing.
