How long for appointment with male fertility specialist?

Hi all

How longs a piece of string right?
I just wondered how long we are likely to wait for the first appointment. My husbands been referred by gp due to low motility.

How did your DH find out about the low motility? Did he have sperm analysis done?

Yes, two sperm analysis to confirm. Today we asked for a results copy and it's low with only 4% forward progression

Had make infertility but not referred to a male specialist on NHS, just to have ICSI, if that helps.

That's interesting. My husband has been referred to a urologist on nhs... I'm guessing to check if there's a physiological reason

Sounds like an enlightened NHS team there - hope it helps.
We went private eventually for urologist.
