Laparoscopy - Newcastle or James Cook?

Hi everyone

It looks as though I need to have a laparoscopy for suspected endometriosis Sad. I was wondering whether anyone has any experience, good or bad, of having this done in Newcastle or James Cook, Middlesbrough?

I may need to pay to have it done privately as I am in so much pain I can't face waiting on the NHS, and am also keen to get this sorted asap from a fertility perspective. Before I speak to my GP about this (and would need to be in a position to suggest either Newcastle/James Cook) I was wondering whether anyone has any experience?

Many thanks x

Not the same procedure but I had a miscarriage and was looked after at James cook after a lot of bleeding and had to be in for over a week.

The staff were wonderful and I couldn't fault their aftercare in the slightest.

No experience of Newcastle, I live near Middlesbrough so most things done at JC.

Sorry to hear of your pain, I hope you get sorted.
