I just found out today that I didn't ovulate on my first cycle of Clomid 50mg. I have just finished taking my second cycle of 50mg. Is it unlikely that if I haven't ovulated on 50mg last cycle it's not going to happen this cycle either. I'm thinking I need 100mg. I have a scan on Friday morning to see what's going on. Does anybody know if I need to up the dose will they give me a prescription there and then or will I have to wait until my next scheduled appointment with the consultant? Which is in July. I
I can't stop worrying about it all and about every wasted month. I'm 38 in September.

I too didn't ovulate on my first cycle of 50mg, but was told at my scan to take 100mg on the next cycle and my consultant had already given me a prescription for 6 months worth of 50mg.

When you go for your next scan just ask the nurse as they tend to work very close with the consultants so she should be able to get it sorted or request it.

I'm the same feeling like wasted months, I'm forever saying 'we only get 6 goes' Although I'm yet to have round 2, I've just finished a course of Provera so AF should be appearing very soon.
