Infertility
Infertile 2 frozen eggs...
Michelle5000 · 22/04/2015 14:51
I lost one ovary due to a tumour. I then tried to conceive. I missed a period and then though I was pregnant. Sadly it turned out that I had developed another tumour, and my remaining ovary was removed. Prior to removal they froze 2 eggs.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? It feels like I'm the only person in the world where this has happened. Any success stories?

Thanks it's quite a lonely situation, DH tries his best, but I don't think he fully understands. The tumours themselves were pretty tough, but the infertility has left me grief stricken.

Michelle I'm not in a similar situation but just wanted to say that I really, really feel for you, and I hope that someone comes along soon who is going/has been through a similar thing. I cannot even begin to imagine how lonely you must be feeling and I hope you are able to get some support from someone in a similar position.
Big hugs

Bloody hell Michelle that is a really tough road you have travelled. My infertility has been very different from yours so I can't really compare but I do understand how alone you can feel. I feel like a freak when everyone around me is naturally having 'the best thing in the world' happen to them...
I hope there is something they can do with your eggs to give you a chance of birth, but most of all I hope your tumours don't return and I wish you happiness and good health.

Hi there - I haven't been in your situation but I can see how shitty it must be for you. I'm sure there will be other people in similar situations, if not on here then maybe try the Fertility Friends forum? If your frozen eggs do not work out for you have you thought about how you might feel about using donor eggs? It's a big thing to get your head around I know.
