Hi
Poor DH is on his 4th SA due to a number of different reasons (mistakes!) but it's looking like he has very low count. Can anyone tell me what will happen next as reading lots of things about Kleinfelters/ obstruction/ testosterone probs etc?
Thanks

For us they tested for genetic issues and CF carrier (clear)
Testosterone levels (fine)
But no physical checks.
So we never found out the issue.
The only things we thought it could be were
Weight
Taking migraine meds (ibuprofen regularly as that is probably not that common)
Severe gum disease which can be linked to sperm issues.
He had also been eating a lot of soya (meat free) products.

We will never know as they moved us straight to icsi as count under 1mil.
Which was successful 2/3 rounds.
We had very low fertilisation rates like 25% but reading about it, it doesnt sound like that is too do with low count so we must have had something else going on.
He took wellman conception for several months and it made no difference to the count (but others have seen improvements) and we dont know, it might have been worse.

I hope they get to the bottom of any reason for your DP as it must be great if it can be fixed (or improved) as ivf is much cheaper and iui and of course theres the going through it all again for dc2

Thanks Naty1
Feel as if all the focus has been on me so far but all my tests are normal and not much has been said about if it's him!
