ET & constant butterflies!

I had ET yesterday, 3 have been transferred. I have constant butterflies in my tummy, im so excited, nervous but not really anxious. Do you think feeling like this could cause stress hormones in the body? I feel like a child waiting for Christmas day!

Hi Eddie, I don't know the answer to your question but I'm curious to know if anyone else does....I'm due for ET later this week and also worried about staying calm afterwards!

I asked my dr and she said not to worry as it wasn’t nerves, more excitement! My friend who is natural fertility practitioner & acupuncturist said ‘It's a good question. The answer is probably, yes. I don't think it will necessarily have a negative impact. I would recommend going out for a walk, watching films or any other activity which will occupy your mind. I don't think any any cortisol levels secreted by your butterflies will be detrimental at all, it may even be good because it's also a form of excitement and good mood. We both know what's secreted when that happens.’ Good luck :)
