My DH has got his results back and the drs suspect his Y chromosome has stopped working it's really confusing our only option is donor sperm or adoption or hormone replacement for the Y chromosome he has testis of 6ML if that makes any sense we are really confused the doctor was very rude unsympathetic and dismissive

There is a great private ( or NHS of right bit of London) urologist called dr Jonathan Ramsey who is a specialist in make infertility. Might be worth looking him up, see if he has written any papers on at issue or of can get NHS referral to him in London? Private is about £200 an appointment. We did not have that issue but got treatment for make infertility that we never had suggested elsewhere.

Has anyone else with fertility problems faced this ? it seems like we're the only ones not sure what the next step is or what the outcome will be of the chromosome replacement treatment

I think you need to ask the Dr to explain the issue to you again.

This page might be useful if you want to read up on this.
It does sound like you should seek a second opinion (from a doctor with better communication skills). Why do they suspect a Y chromosome issue? Is your DH totally azoospermatic, or is there some production? If the latter, then it would be worth asking about sperm retrieval options to see if there is a way ahead via assisted conception.

totally azoospermatic they suspect he stopped growing in early puberty as a result he has 6ml testis instead of the normal 20ml testis of a grown man
he's very distressed about it and we just want to k ow if anyone else has experienced this and what the outcome was

He is having another bloodtest done where they culture and grow his blood for 3 months to see what his chromosomes are like the doctor did say something about replacement therapy where he can start puberty again and he should be fine ? they really were vv rude arrogant and dismissive never met any doctors like them
