Private Fertility Clinic in Leeds?

Hi All,
I'm looking for a good clinic to go private for IUI and IVF in Leeds area.
Suggestions greatly appreciated x

I only know of Genesis which is based in seacroft hospital, it's in the same unit as the nhs clinic. Good luck

MR Rutherford is the man you're after - if you google him I'm sure you'll see where he's practicing. He's the best of the (used to be 3) Reproductive medicine consultants in Leeds.

In that definitely Genesis, Mr Rutherford is one of the consultants there.

Thanks for these helpful replies : ) I'm already in the NHS system at Seacroft and currently waaaaaaaaiiiiiiting a long time so considering going private.

If I go private via Genesis, do I lose my place in the NHS queue?

I asked that question many times in the long time we waited for a consultation and no one was able to give me an answer. Are you eligible for treatment on the nhs? If not, I wouldn't waste time on the nhs waiting list, it took us 6 months to get an initial consultation to then immediately have to go private thereafter. It depends how long you've waited til now I guess. Good luck

I don't know if I'm eligible for nhs treatment. I was on the waiting list for ivf with my partner, waiting for 5 months so far. But at xmas we broke up, and I've decided to ask if I can still go ahead with donor sperm. I know my nhs trust do deal w single women but I don't know what they will say to me in this case.
