Flowers. It's rubbish, isn't it? However long you've been ttc, when you take control of the situation and take the next step, you get your hopes up so much more. And then the crash is that much worse. Fingers crossed it works next month. xxx

I agree, totally rubbish. You have my every sympathy. Although I now have a precious DD it took me a long time to get her. It's easy for me now I know but please try to stay positive- did you have any monitoring with clomid so do you know you ovulated? If so you have a good chance of doing so this cycle and fingers crossed for you that it works this time.

Patch77 just want you io know you are not alone on this. Neither cycle 1 or 2 worked for me but cycle 3 did. Emotionally cycle 1 failure was hard, cycle 2 was devastating. However it really can be successful...I'm now in the third trimester and it feels so long ago now.

I shall raise my G&T to you tonight. We're doing donor egg IVF now and the advantage of outsourcing the egg-making bit is that I can have a few guilt-free drinks. And DH's swimmers are on ice, so he can join me.
