Mother Nature's last cruel trick

At least I hope it's her last trick... After 39 cycles of 27/28 days my 40th cycle is now 32 days. Why? Because I'm counting the seconds until I start my long-awaited first ICSI cycle! Definitely not pregnant, numerous BFNs and spotting discount that possibility.

I know it's only been a few days but it's utterly agonising after all this time waiting to have to wait a bit more, I had hoped to start on Wednesday but my period is nowhere to be seen. I'm trying to relax but it's hard when my head is full of this.

Was anyone else late before an ivf cycle? It's like my body knows what's coming and is trying to delay it...

Yes I was late by about 3 days before the ivf cycle. In hindsight I think it may have been because I started taking echinacea that month. I didn't want to get a bug during the cycle. It was a bitch.

Hope it turns up soon for you and you can get going. Have a bonk or do a bit of exercise. that might spur it on! good luck
