Clexane during ivf??

Hi all,
I'm after some advice.... I've had one failed ivf and am now doing my second cycle.
A close friend is also doing ivf with a different clinic. She has been prescribed clexane injections due to previous implantation failure during iui. I understand it's usually prescribed after immunity testing, where immune response issues are identified. But her clinic prescribed it 'just in case' because it can aid implantation and doesn't do any harm.
My clinic is less keen to prescribe it.
Just wondered what's normal??? Anyone on this drug or have any experience of it?

I had clexane on my one successful cycle (third time lucky) but only because I got OHSS and was in hospital for a week so the hospital put me on it to reduce risk of DVT. During my numerous failed attempts for a sibling I tried it once again after an early miscarriage (attempt 4 I think) in which I didn't have it and I thought maybe clexane was the critical factor ... but there was a lot of uncertainty about when to start it. I never again managed to even get a positive (about 4 more attempts - I lost count).

Looking back I am convinced the difference between the successful and the rest was that I was on forced bed rest during 2ww and I was signed of work till the end of the first trimester.

I tried acupuncture, different progesterone brands and was tempted to go the full immune route but in the end got disillusion by the lack of scientific research to sort out the optimal regime for individuals and gave up.

I've had one cycle without Clexane and one with. Both were BFNs.
After the first BFN (without Clexane) I underwent immune testing and the results show I have a high level of natural killer cells. So I was given Clexane for my second attempt because of this (rather than 'just in case'). Neither worked though so I'm not sure it does much!!
