Fertility treatment for baby no 2

Hi all,
I'm just wondering if anyone has recieved fertility treatment for baby no 2?

I was diagnosed with pcos a couple of years ago and we got clomid to conceive our PFB (second cycle of clomid). Anyway we were hoping that the whole super fertile straight after a baby would mean we could conceive again straight away without any help but unfortunately not. I am breastfeeding but no where near regularly enough for it to act as contraception and DD is being weened atm so feeds are going to get a lot less frequent. Anyways. I've been to the gp and I've talked her into sending us to see the specialist again. I've got two questions

Has anyone been given fertility treatment 6 months after having a baby?

And

Has anyone been prescribed clomid or provera when breastfeeding?

I really want to go to the appointment as prepared as possible.

I'm in the same boat, would like to follow the thread, hope it picks up.

Personally I've not approached anyone about this yet, am being tested for the pregnancy aftermath (iron levels, thyroid, etc.). Want to sort those out before actively (exhaustion et al permitting) starting to try.
I'm wondering whether we'd have to wait the advised 6-12 mths to not conceive before able to speak the GP with tangible cause for concern or does our (in)fertility history speaks for itself to validate a request for a referral?
