1 of my 2 eggs fertilised, transfer tommorrow if embryo makes it

The embryologist phoned me this morning and said that 1 egg fertilised out of the 2 and that my embryo transfer is tomorrow. She said that there is small chance the embryo will stop growing by tomorrow and if this happens she will phone me very early in the morning to save me the trip. Fingers crossed this 1 little embryo is a fighter and all will be ok. I will be hoping and praying now that his embryo makes it.

Aww, thanks Rumples. I will be hoping and praying now this little embryo is a tough one and goes all the way. The embryologist told me that if I don't hear from them early tomorrow, that means all is well and good and the embryo transfer will go ahead. Fingers crossed now, will update you soon x

Good luck hoping! Have a restful day tomorrow after ET, but if possible have something nice planned to take your mind off things. Then you have the 2ww, which is tough!

Aww thanks, update for everyone. I had my single embryo transfer done this morning and all went well. The embryologist said that our embryo was a top quality AA grade and was perfect. This made me feel much happier. Now is the two week wait to see if it works or not. Its going to be the longest two weeks of my life.

Aww, thanks Bessie, I am glad its all done now, just the 2 week wait now. They gave me my pregnancy tests to do at home, so that's good. No more few hours travelling back and forth now. The entire thing takes it out of you xx

i bet it does. will keep spying for updates. we had our first iui yesterday, not the same as ivf by far, but currently in 2ww too.

Good luck! Try eating pineapple core to make it stick! That's what I did! I also had acupuncture on the day of transfer and listened to zita west cd every night after the transfer.

Hi everyone, day after 2 day embryo transfer and feeling ok. I know I still have a long wait ahead of me yet and these next few weeks are going to drag so much. My husband has been fantastic, so supportive and helpful.
Bessie - I really hope your IUI works for you, I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you and look forward to the updates from you :)
Chattycat - Thanks, it Sounds a good idea, I have been relaxing and listening to some music too and also drinking lots of water and cutting right down on coffee. I usually love a few cups of coffee a day but will cut down to 1 or 2 from now. No alcohol whatsoever from now either, not that I drink much at all anyway, barely anything but will be zero now.
I have 2 pregnancy tests to take, one of the 18th Dec and the other on 25th Dec (Christmas Day) What an amazing Christmas day it will be if I get the BFP. Will keep you all updated as things unfold x
