For those that took cyclogest pessaries after EC, how many per day and what amount did you take? Also, if you got your bfp, up to how many weeks did you stay on them??

I'm on 1 x 400 per day but I'm worried that its not enough

1x twice per day about 12h apart. Went up to three when had some bleeding - but it may have been the sodding progesterone that aggravated the cervix!

It varies by person on what you need. My consultant suspected I had low progesterone which was causing issues in the first place

Downside of lots of Cyclogest = really spotty skin, bloating and sore boobies!

I went for IVF on the Saturday just gone so am on two pessaries a day, one morning one evening. I am inserting them vaginally in the morning and anally at night. Is that ok? If not which is the best way?Also, on the first day I saw three small particles in the water when going to the toilet which I was slightly worried about. But then nothing showed again after using them for the next few days so I felt ok. However this morning a few hours after inserting it Found a slight discharge in my knickers and now I'm paronoid! Is there anything I need to be worried about?

Hi there - that all sounds normal, I've read it only takes 30minutes for the progesterone to absorb into your system, so it doesn't matter if you get 'bits' falling out, so to speak. I had all the same side effects as you.

I inserted in my back passage for all doses. Felt it stayed in better. The bits that come out is just the wax the hormones were set in. Don't worry about that. X

5 cycles - 3 fresh and 2 frozen

On all of them I took 400 am and pm spaces roughly 12hrs so did 7/7

5th was only one that worked. Currently 38w

I took till 14w. Was told could stop at 12 but I was worried so took longer and cut down slowly as body had been on them most of 2016 with 3 attempts jan Feb and then July which was successful

Clinic said that was fine and no harm taking for longer v me stressing out iyswim

1&2 went up the bum

345 vaginally

Either is fine
