I'm nearing the end of my 2ww and bleeding a little. Not sure whether that's me out of the running, or just a symptom of the heparin and aspirin that I'm on. It's a trickle of fresh red blood, rather than my usual brown pre-AF spotting.
This is probably our last go at IVF after two failed transfers earlier this year. I had 3 x day2 embryos transferred a week and a half ago. I have a history of miscarriage and chemical pregnancies, so we decided to throw everything at it this time, hence the aspirin (which my consultant put me on a couple of months before starting the cycle) and heparin post transfer.
I had a lot of spotting at the beginning of my last pregnancy and at my first scan they said that the implantation bleed was quite a bit bigger than the foetus. I'm guessing that using heparin is going to increase the chance of bleeding on implantation.
I'm just looking for some reassurance really, and hoping that I still might be in with a chance...
