Has my surgeon screwed up?!

I really hope someone can clear this up for me and that a mistake hasn't been made!!! Yesterday I went in for a laparoscopy to clear a blocked Fallopian tube. The operation apparently went well and the doctor says he cleared the obstruction. He entered only through the belly button and on my left side. There is no entrance wound on right. But today I had a niggling doubt that I thought my HSG results had said the obstruction was in the right tube. And low and behold it does!
Please somebody tell me there can be some kind of explanation for this?!?!
I have just emailed doctor and attached copy of said results.
I can't quite believe it!

Maybe that's it. I certainly hope so! I was trying to convince myself that it's a bit like stage left and house left but that doesn't really work. We always call our right hand our right whichever way you look at it!
It's just funny. Surgeon said he was going to do a small incision on each side but then when I saw only one I thought "great". Now I'm just trying to figure out a plausable explanation. I hope there is one.

Well, you were right. The doctor says it's easier to manipulate coming in from that angle. Thanks for your reply and helping put my mind at rest!
