Lesbians starting IVF with egg sharing for first time

Hi there!
This is my first post so I hope I have got it right! Myself and my partner will shortly be commencing IVF with an anonymous donor sperm and egg- sharing (to reduce cost and provide for others who need it.) Has anyone gone through this already and have any advice? We have no idea where to start! We have had the initial consultation, but we didnt discuss the egg sharing part then. Thanks :)

No advice but I wish you the best of luck. I know someone that earlier this year became pregnant through egg sharing and also implantation into partner. My wife and I are hoping to do an IVF cycle in the next month or two as we've had two failed IUIs this year.

Thanks for your reply! :) Good luck with IVF. We may go down the IUI option first, to see if this is successful, as everything appears to be healthy and no family history problems, but I guess we need to hope! Good luck!
