Just wanted some advice as am feeling really shaky. We're due to start our first attempt at IVF at the beginning of September. We're doing short protocol so I'll start with a week of Northisterone (progesterone tabs) and then wait for my bleed to start injections. I had always assumed (now I'm thinking, stupidly) that we could keep on trying this month - I'm on AF now - as in, this was going to be our last month to give it a shot naturally, and was still keeping everything crossed as we have totally unexplained fertility(had a miscarriage last year), that we might not have to do IVF as am dreading it. I just emailed my doctor asking about these tabs and also about the endo scratch (which I'm planning on doing) and he just told me very bluntly - obviously don't try to concieve this month. It's really shaken me as I think I was just hanging onto last chance saloon! Just spoke to DH who was sweet but said not to worry as we have our plan in place anyway. But I just feel so sad and desperate that that last window has come and gone without me even knowing about it. Anyone know anything about this or been advised the same? Sorry if it seems really obvious and I'm being stupid!...
