So i got diagnosed with PCOS in November last year. I saw the specialist gynae doctor at the hospital he said there were a few drugs they could try when we are ready to try that will help with my fertility. I have periods far apart, anything from 4-9 months. He put me on Metformin 50mg twice a day to help my periods. As of yet i haven't noticed much difference, although i hadn't been taking it religiously up until now.
We are going back to see the specialist this month to start talks and what he would advise the next stage, tests etc.
Would be great to hear from anyone going through similar.
