Do ovulation tests work when on all these fertility drugs?

I am on clomid tablets and gonal -f injections. This is my second round of IUI and although I am being monitored my clinic got my ovulation day wrong and the procedure was carried out 2 or 3 days after I ovulated. Are the ovulation tests reliable when you are on the medicines or do they interefere with the readings?

I am told clomid can give false positives, especially if taken within 3 days of last dose. I also didn't know that we can have more than positive LH tests more than once per month, which I had no idea about.

I am on clomid 50 mg. Had positive OPK for 2 days but nothing happened, so it was either false or was only one of the positives I had. Yesterday was CD1 after my 1st failed clomid cycle, so I am disappointed to say the least.

It's great that you are monitored because I am not. My consultant just told me to arrange CD21 test to see if egg release actually occurred.
