Hi,

I had a mid quality expanded blastocyst transferred yesterday. From 14 eggs 1 transferred none to freeze. Feeling very deflated and feel like it's all over already.

Anyone any positive stories if not top quality blasts they would like to share? I really need some positive support.

Thanks

I transferred one blast a few weeks ago and am now 6 and a half weeks pregnant. Stay positive and good luck :) xxx

Ps I read that eating a whole pineapple including the core helped with implantation for the first 5 days after transfer. I did it, don't know of it worked but it didn't do any harm x

Thank you. I think it's the quality and grading I can't get out of my head. So hard to stay sane through all of this.

Huge congratulations on you happy news. Xxx

Hey, I had 2 average quality blastocysts transferred and one took and I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant. I had none to freeze as well. I was exactly like you and stressed about the grading and was convinced it wouldn't work based on the fact they weren't top quality. Good luck to you! x

MrsFO9 there is every reason to be hopeful. I started my IVF journey with 9 blasts, ranging from 5AA (excellent) to 2BB (ok). It was the 2BB that took in the end and is currently sat on a mat in front of me, covered in pomodoro sauce and whacking the bejesus out of a toy Grin

Im with you there MrsF09 - had a blastocyst transferred yesterday and was feeling all positive and hopeful. Today I find out we have none to freeze and im really disappointed..

We only get 1 cycle paid for which means anything else now we'll have to cough up for, so unfair !

Trying to focus on the positives and the embryo hopefully implanting right now but its not easy !

Sending you positive sticky vibes rainbowbreeze! Its so tough x

MrsFO9, good luck and hang in there. The top quality textbook blast from my fresh cycle didn't stay with us but the not-so-great-looking frostie is now 5 months old. It's not always about the one that looks best in the lab. Stay hopeful.

And ceara, he is a gorgeous boy if I may say so Smile

I also started off with 11 blastos, had one transferred and none frozen as they felt the quality wasn't good enough. Gutted to say the least as it had taken us 17 years to get to that stage.

We didn't get any funding at all because as soon as we hit one Government qualifying period they moved the goalposts. £52k later.....

Currently 19 weeks preg....so please stay of a positive attitude. Flowers

I had 2 Blastos transferred 6 days ago.... The wait to test is excruciating....

Good to know that the scoring isn't really and indicator if they will grow in to a baby... And to hear some positive stories
