Hysteroscopy & Polypectomy

Hi everyone!

I had a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and dye test in May when 2 polyps were removed from the uterus.
I was wondering if anyone had any experiences to share about the weeks after because any information on the net or from the NHS is vague and unhelpful.

So bearing in mind I work full time as a self employed gardener and I was also exercising 5-6 days a week beforehand HIIT, Pilates, Yoga etc

my experiences have been that even though I was fit it took a lot longer than I was led to expect to recover. I was out for a week unable to do anything remotely energetic or gardening work. It has taken 4-5 weeks to be back to my old pre-op self, barring a bit of tightness. I also am having terrible problems with my moods, which I cant find any info on anywhere is this normal? And since the ops I've noticed a change in the viscosity of my discharge (it is thicker) and I am suffering from dryness down there, which I wasn't before my OH has noticed it a lot.

Please comment with any of your own experiences and whether this is normal? x x x x
