Day21 Tests - Any Experts Out There?

Hi there,

I'm a long time lurker and occasional poster.

I'm new to all this and I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me make sense of my Day 21 hormone test results please. Please see my results below (and also the comments and ranges as stated on the results sheet):

-Serum Oestradiol Level - 467 pmol/L - Normal. No Action. (Range 77.00-921.00pmol/L)
-Serum Progesterone - 40 nmol/L - Abnormal. No Action. (Range 0.00 -1.00 nmol/L. >30 suggests ovulation is likely).
-Serum FSH Level 1.9u/L - Abnormal. No Action. (Range 2.50-19.50u/L).
-Serum LH Level 4.2 u/L - Normal. No Action. (Range 2.90-21.70u/L).

I had my LH surge on CD12.
I started spotting on CD22 and AF started on Day 25.

I know (? think) that I can conceive with these levels. My questions are regarding Luteal Phase and the levels of Progesterone throughout that phase:

  • If I ovulated at a 'normal' time for a 28 day cycle, but then I began my period on CD 25, does this mean I have a LP that is on the short side?
  • And does it mean my progesterone levels (whilst apparently acceptable on CD21 if assuming a 28 day cycle) are dropping too quickly with the spotting and early start of period? I'm concerned that I am 'losing out' on some progesterone, if that doesn't sound too silly.
  • Also, is the Abnormal FSH result significant?

Sorry post is so long. TIA
