I had an ectopic pregnancy. I took methotrexate to dissolve the blockage. After 5 weeks my hcg levels were back to normal. At 7 weeks I had a scan and the blockage was still there. The consultant said that it indicates a lot of damage to the tube. I have another scan in 8 weeks and if not much of a change said I should think about having tube removed. I am seeing a fertility dr next week to discuss options.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
