Bath RUH or Salisbury?

Hello - I have (finally) been referred for suspected secondary infertility after TTC DC2 for 19 months. We are confident that the problem, if there is one, lies with me rather than my DH. My referral is to either Salisbury or RUH in Bath. I have heard bad things about RUH in some contexts and much better things about Salisbury but I had DS1 at RUH so I am tempted to return there if only for the sake of familiarity.

Has anyone had experience of either of these places for infertility investigation and treatment? Any advice would be very gratefully received.

Experience of Salisbury was great, everyone I saw was very professional and kind and the outcome of our first round of treatment is currently hopefully enjoying an afternoon snooze at nursery. From the brief research I did I think they have good success rates too and they were very supportive of our decision making (we dithered and dithered about number of embryos going for a single transfer despite my great age so them being supportive was good). If NHS some tests can involve a wait but if self funding I doubt you'd have that problem. If I was trying again I would without hesitation go back to Salisbury, even if it was no longer local. Good luck!
