Progesterone on Day 21?

Can anyone help me work this out? I'm on my first cycle of Clomid and my scan showed I was about to ovulate. I had my day 21 blood tests taken yesterday and my progesterone level was 87.3. Nurse seemed really happy and said that I was to cancel my day 27 tests. Can anyone explain how healthy these results are?

Hi ToAvoid I am in no way an expert on this, but I was told when I had my day 21 tests done that over 30 was considered good and shows ovulation has occurred. I'm not sure if there is such a thing as progesterone being too high though...Good luck to you!

Thanks for the reply. Just a waiting game now but I'm a bit of a control freak so I would rather know about as much as possible.
