Antral Follicle Scan

I was told I should have an antral follicle scan on CD3. Our clinic doesn't do these scans over the weekend so I've had to book in for a Monday which will be CD5. Is this going to have any negative impact on results? I'm assuming it won't as it gives more time for follicles to develop yet at my initial appt they seemed v.adamant that it should be done on CD3.

Someone reassure me please.

I'm sure it will be fine. I had one done later in my cycle...like day 6 or 7. It just means the follicles are a bit bigger as they've had a bit more time to grow. I can't see why it matters what day you have the scan...obviously as long as it's before ovulation.
