I am ttc #2 and onto cycle 6. (It took almost a year and 2 mcs to conceive dd.) Currently at cd12 (ovulate around cd16) and had a cold all week and been necking cold drugs. What I wondered was what do you eat/drink/take etc. both pre-ovulation and post-ovulation?
As it goes on, I get stricter and stricter with myself in the hope it works but then think I shouldn't keep stopping my life for something that may not happen this month.
So far, I have cut out most caffeine (except chocolate and the odd diet-coke), limit myself to 1 alcoholic drink max in a session post ovulation most months, cut out vigorous exercise post ovulation. I try to not drink too much pre-ovulation and I drink alot less than I did pre-dd.
(DD was conceived during a month when I drank loads of alcohol and caffeine with lots of vigorous exercise after deciding to not ruin my holiday for something that wasn't going to happen.)
Didn't put this in conception as wanted the view of people who were struggling. (I am more than happy to cut out everything if it will happen in the first few cycles.)
