About to start icsi but no ovulation

Hi I wondered if anyone could help. I'm about to start ivf due to husbands low sperm count but to top it off with my pcos I don't have many periods. Can anyone explain what they will do?

Different people have different treatments but mine was -
21 days of injections to down regulate
a few blood tests in between to check its working
11 days of Gonal F to produce lots of eggs
blood test and scans again
on day 32 I had my Pregnyl injection to start ovulation
36 hour later its egg collection and sperm is injected into the eggs
They will ring you to let you know how your eggs are doing then after normally 3 or 5 days the egg will be put back.

Have you had your drugs delivered yet? I was overwhelmed by the large box that was delivered but you soon get the hang of it :) Don't worry about not ovulating as the drugs take over and do it all for you

Hi thanks for the reply! No we aren't at that stage yet as they're still monitoring me and checking my husbands chromosome.
Hopefully in the next 4 weeks or so.

I'm in the same boat , low count and Pcos with hardly no periods , I have been put on the birth control pill for a few weeks before I start my treatment to induce a period. I go in to meet the nurses to tomorrow to collect my meds and find out protocol ECT hope this helps :) good luck xx
