Had a lap, dye & hysteroscopy yesterday.....

So 1 day post surgery and I don't feel too bad. Little bit tender and not great nights sleep but generally okay. Hysteroscopy results all good but lap and dye showed a blocked right tube. Now I know it's possible with one working tube but I can't help feeling really sad and weepy (although nurse did say yesterday that GA does that sometimes)
Happy to answer questions re procedures and looking for positive stories with one working tube xxx

Can I tag along? On my way home from a Hycosy where we've discovered one probably blocked tube. I'm ttcing #2 (on cycle 15) and the doc said that my previous pg and ELCS could have caused the block but no way of knowing. Everyone's telling me it's not game over, there's still one tube so there's still a good chance etc etc but all I feel is gloom.

Hi worrisome heart, sorry to hear your news too. I know it's not game over as I have a friend who lost a tube due to ectopic and has since had a little girl but I share your gloom. Hard to rise above it at the moment. I'm here for some hand holding.

i had the same ops last aug and same result as you and told unexplained - been ttc for 7ish years :(

sadly not preg yet and not entitled to nhs ivf so saved/credit card and starting private ivf in 6ish weeks
