Clinic of low AMH in South East/London

Hi,

I have secondary infertility, low AHM .6, one partially blocked tube and "small" ovary. I am 41.

Please can anyone recommend a clinic in London or South East that specialises in these areas? mainly low AMH and my age.

I have found an older thread about this but I know there are some new clinics now.

I am in Australia Number1 so I am not familiar with your clinics to offer any advice in that regard. But I really wanted to chat with you because I too have a low AMH (2.5 two years ago - it would logically be lower now!). I am doing my 4th IVF now and I always have a very poor response - only 5 follicles growing this cycle. You made me curious when you said you have small ovaries. Can I ask for more details like the exact measurements? Just curious to compare as no one has ever mentioned this to me. Maybe if mine are even smaller then it might give you some hope that you will get more than 5 follicles with your IVF like I currently have.

Don't know if this helps you but it is the one thing that gives me hope. While I can't increase the quantity of eggs produced in IVF, there is lots of research on IVF protocols, diet and supplements that are shown to improve quality of the few eggs I do get - and I have definitely seen quality improvement over my 4 IVF's which gives me hope to go on...

IVF 1 - One poor quality embryo. Disintegrated at day 2.
IVF 2 - Two 'not bad' embryos. Two cells at day 2 transfer but should be 4 cells. BFN
IVF 3 - One 'good quality' 4 cell embryo at day 2 transfer. Really think I could feel implantation. Had sex as I thought this would help and then felt all funny in tummy. Did this destroy things? BFN. So close!
IVF 4 - Yet to be determined. No sex after transfer this time!!!

Won't ramble on any more in case you are not interested, but would be happy to share with you if you are interested in what I have researched and am doing.

And if you do have your ovary measurements, I would really be interested to know and compare with my ultrasound reports.

Thank you. Unfortunately I don't have anymmeasurement. It was just what the gynae said when I had a can't remember the name where they put a camera inside to have a look. It's thst side thst has the blocked or partially blocked tube but he didn't bother unblocking it because of the small ovary. That said when I was on clomid I did produce eggs that side. Good luck this time! Xx

Hi are they much better than argc? I am just looking into it all. Lister is just hard for me to get to and my lack of childcare does not help. I dont live in London. Thank you

Argc is brilliant (a friend of mine is a dr there!).

Lister would be my preference due to amh situation, but it's important that you choose a clinic that is easier to get to.

It is, it's a huge amount.

Can I make a suggestion? You could go to have a look at them both, see what you think - they'll do open evenings. It's important that you go somewhere you feel comfortable, but without the expense of having to have appointments
