Could HRT help with a thin uterine lining ?

I have very light periods and have been told i'm heading toward perimenopause. Iv'e been advised by my doctor to start HRT but i would really like to conceive. Doctor says that HRT will probably make my periods heavier which i'm guessing would be due to the estrogen. So the estrogen would make my uterine lining thicker so i wondered if i conceived would an embryo be able to implant ?

I have been put on HRT to increase my oestrogen levels as they are very low. Prior to starting it I did not menstruate, 3 months in and I had my first bleed so ye it must help to thicken the lining.
