Just had another set of say 21 bloods back - 9.7

Apparently Dr has marked this as 'normal'?!?!

Is he thick or am I missing something? Last month it was 20.8 and the Dr (different GP) marked it as 'probably ovulated'.

I feel like curling up into a ball and, well, bawling. I'm so lost.

What do I do when my GP won't even admit there's a problem? Do I argue with him?

PS: I know it's measured in n/mol as that's the units they use there.

Please help...

What are your periods like generally?.

What hormone level was measured - if it was progesterone that that level would indicate that ovulation did not occur.

I would change GP practice if they are this unhelpful. They are generalists and do not know everything particularly when it comes to conceiving. I would not let them mess around with you any longer in sheer ignorance. You will need to be persistent in order to get answers.

My periods are usually anything from 25-29 day cycles, so not the worst.

I get zero OV symptoms, no ewcm (in fact not a lot of cm at all) no positive opk's, no cramps, nothing.

I started taking vitamin b last month but if anything it seems to have had a negative effect!

The last GP had to refer to a poster on his wall when checking my progesterone last time to confirm 20.8 didn't concern him! Very comforting!

My lab results had the lab reference ranges on.
I actually had very similar told i ovulated and i said the lp is about 10 days so i was still worried.
They looked back and said oh unlikely to have ovulated.
Have u also had thyroid and cd3 tests done.
It is normal to not always ovulate.
But if none of your tests clearly show it...
I imagine it depends on the day of the test in relation to ovulation it is say 21 so 7 days after ovulation for most people and 7 days before period.
When did u think you ovulated and how long was the cycle?
Are u ovulaing very early on 25 day cycle like day 11?
I think the problem with the cd21 test is it sounds like gps dont understand they need to understand a persons cycle that month

Can you ask your GP's reception for copies of your test results - they normally give the reference range and sometimes a comment. If that's different from what you've been told you have a basis for either going back to your gp or taking to a new one.
